I thought I would start sharing style boards that I put together for clients. I use these as a way to help inspire and guide clients as they pull together outfits for their session. Dressing can be a big stress (if not the biggest) when it comes to getting pictures taken and if I can help alleviate some of that stress, I’m more than happy to.

I hope these may be of some service to you as you pull together outfits for your own photo session — whether with me or another photographer.

This was for a family with a few teenagers. I liked the idea of the whole family in a mix of black and white and having either the mom or daughter in a bold color.

Not all client’s take to the style boards — which is fine. In fact, I completely scared off an engaged couple with this one.
