I met Joe this weekend. He builds the structures that hold signs over the freeway. He looks like the type you wouldn't want to mess with. Couldn't have been a nicer guy.
Congratulations "Remi," you won! Contact me, at mattclaytonphotography@gmail.com, and we'll get something lined up. And thanks to the rest of you for entering. Best, Matt
Leave a comment here by Saturday (May 30) at midnight, for a chance to win a free sitting with Matt Clayton. One winner will be chosen at random and announced on Monday, June 1. Thanks for visiting. Fine print: Sitting must be redeemed within one month of being awarded. May not include more than 10 individuals in sitting. Sitting must take place in Utah, unless you want to fly me out to wherever you are. I'd be down for that. Become a fan of Matt Clayton Photography here.
Before I post the final shots from the Summer Champ shoot, I mentioned in April, here's a behind-the-scenes look at what went on.
The original concept.
Notes, ideas, inspiration, and a more defined sketch of the spread compiled by my fashion editor, Emily, and I so that we had a clear vision of how the finished product should look and feel.
The shooting order and prop list.
We were originally planning to shoot up American Fork Canyon, but when April decided to deliver some fresh pow, that plan quickly changed. My neighborhood became, the new, Camp Red Feather. The neighbors got quite a show.
And in grand tradition, by the end of the shoot, "numbers were exchanged." Happens every time. Emily and I keep track.
